(*Raktha x *Serafina)

The chestnut stallion *Serafix was born Feb. 10, 1949. He was owned by John Rogers who imported *Serafix into the United States from England in 1954. The young stallion was homesick for his groom in England and went off feed. Mr. Rogers nearly lived in the stallion's stall with him. Rogers would feed, groom, and feed him again. He slept in his stall between work hours and family commitments to gain his trust.

*Serafix sired more than 30 National winners. He had 271 registered progeny and was the grandfather of 4976 purebred Arabian Horses.
