ABU FARWA was one of the greatest American-bred stallions and a leading sire for many years. He was bred by Kellogg Arabians, foaled May 22, 1940 and lived to be 32 yrs old. A son of Rabiyas and out of *Rissletta, Abu Farwa is reported to be 90% Crabbet. Abu Farwa sired many Champion performers and his blood is still prized today, his offspring have a reputation as being athletic horses with a good mind. He was an exceptional sire whose get epitomize the best of the breed.

Abu Farwa was the only sire to have produced two or more broodmares who produced top racing stock.

Even movie fame can be claimed by old Abu Farwa, as his daughter, Wahana, was chosen to star in the well known film "My Friend Flicka."

Abu Farwa is gone but far from forgotten. His offspring will continue to dazzle us for some time to come.
